Judge Horn seeks judicial interns for the fall, spring, and summer term every year. Applicants must have completed a minimum of two semesters of law school prior to the start of the internship. The positions offer opportunities for the development of research, writing, and analytical skills; present opportunities to observe in-court and remote proceedings; and provide a window into the judicial perspective. Interns become part of a small and enthusiastic staff with significant assigned responsibility. Internship hours in the Fall and Spring semester are tailored to avoid conflicts with law school class schedules. Interested law students should send applications by email to Horn_Chambers@cfc.uscourts.gov and include a cover letter, resume, law school transcript if available, a short writing sample, and a list of three references. Applicants can call chambers for more information at 202-357-6580.
